Patches is made from polymer clay remnants. He symbolizes variety and diversity. Through variety and diversity we discover ourselves, we discover love and we are bountiful.
Patches is currently on display as part of the Bolton Artisans Guild‘s Heart display at the Nashoba Valley Winery. You can see all of the Guild’s heart themed art February 2 to March 2, 2009. The winery will host a wine and chocolate reception on Sunday, February 8, 2009 from 3:30pm to 5:00pm. Patches will be available for purchase after the display ends on March 2, 2009.

Welcome, Patches… he looks fun, Amy. His face is interesting. He’s not sure you will accept his heart and bird. I like it. Nice close up shots.

Thanks Judy. Patches’ head has been sitting on my desk for several months. He’s been waiting patiently for a body to hold him. Once the design idea came to me, Patches came developed quite quickly. You’re right; he is a little hesitant isn’t he?

What a great guy your Patches is, Amy! He’s so colorful and offers his heart so openly. You must have had a lot of fun creating him. Wonderful job! Yes, very nice closeups.

Thanks Karen. I was pleased with how quickly he came together. Love how that can happen when you start with a kernel of an idea and just the muse carry you.

Hello Fair Artist, who makes so many wild and beautiful things,
